International Color Quality Club 2024-2026

Color Quality Club (ICQC) contest is organized by World Printers Forum (WPF) for newspapers/magazines with an objective to improve print quality as per the international ISO standards. The contest enable seeding the healthy competition of quality conscious workforce. The contest evaluates a print test element (WAN-IFRA “Cuboid” – Test patch) and a visual Print Quality (GPQ) defect evaluation by a jury of international newspaper experts.

The winners will gain 1 star for successful club membership each time and stars gained over the years will put them in Star Club (5+ stars) and Millennium Club (10+ ) . The winners are honored at World Printers Summit 2024.

The competition is open to all publications, independent of production process or types of substrates used. Below are the participation categories available for publications

Category 1     Cold set offset on newsprint.

Category 2     Heat-set offset or UV-curing offset on newsprint (Semi-commercial)

Category 3     Heat-set offset or UV-curing offset on SC or LWC paper (Semi-commercial)

Category 4     Extra category for printing under own standard conditions or non-standard conditions, like printed on tinted paper

Category 5     Magazines, printed in sheet-fed offset, heat-set , gravure or digital inkjet (Weekly, fort-nightly, and monthly magazines)
