INTERNATIONAL COLOR QUALITY CLUB (ICQC)
The International Color Quality Club (ICQC) contest is organized by World Printers Forum for Newspapers and magazines, which aims to enhance print quality as per international ISO standards. The contest evaluates a print test element (“Cuboid”-Test patch) and visual Print Quality (GPQ) defects, judged by newspaper experts.
Publication(s) title will gain 1 star for every successful contest repeated through years, stars gets added over years helps to enter Star Club (5 Stars) & Millennium Club (10 Stars). The winners will be awarded at the World Printers Summit, annual event at Germany.
The participating categories are,
- Category 1 Cold set web-offset on standard newsprint
- Category 2 Heat-set or UV-curing offset on standard newsprint
- Category 3 Heat-set or UV-curing offset on GNP, SC or LWC paper
- Category 4 Printing using own standard conditions (Ex: tinted paper)
- Category 5 Magazines printed in any printing process (weekly or monthly)
