The “Best in Print Asia Awards” is an annual print quality competition organized by WAN-IFRA to recognize the quality reproduction of newspapers and magazines from Asia that reproduce in accordance with ISO 12647-3 and WAN-IFRA standards. The competition is aimed to showcase the quality of print reproduction while fostering competitiveness in the newspaper printing industry.
Participation categories:
- For newspapers / magazines with less than 100,000 copies and
- For newspapers / magazines with more than 100,000 copies.
The competition evaluates key technical process parameters, including dot gain at 40% and 70%, mid-tone spread, grey balance, color space in percentage, color conformity, color register, and visual general printing quality (GPQ).
WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE :
Any Newspaper or magazine publishers or publications who are from Asia and Middle East countries and who exist in print format, are eligible to participate in this print quality contest.

RECOGNISION :
WAN-IFRA would recognize the winners at the annual conference “INDIAN PRINTERS SUMMIT 2025” on 23 – 24 September 2025 at Delhi.
- The top three winners in each categories will be awarded gold, silver, and bronze trophies.
- A successful contest participant who beat the best quality score norm of achieving 150 points will receive a certificate of merits at the Indian Printers Summit event.
- Participants will get a complete report that gives greater insights into the technical capabilities of their own process and standardization adherence.
